David J. Nommensen is the senior managing partner of the firm. His Wisconsin roots run deep. He grew up on the northwest side of Milwaukee and attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 1975 (Bachelor of Science Degree- Summa Cum Laude). While at college, he was selected for membership in the Blue Key Honor Society, which recognizes the top one percent of students for balanced all-around excellence in scholarship, leadership and service. The Blue Key motto is "Serving, I live."

After graduation from college, David was admitted to one of the premier law schools, the University of Chicago Law School, and graduated in 1978. He interned with the firm prior to graduation and has remained with the firm for his entire professional career. His legal experience is vast and varied, including adoption, family law, litigation, personal injury, appellate practice and municipal law. While he still accepts cases in those areas on a selective basis, his current practice concentrates primarily in the areas of estate planning, trusts, probate, elder law and real estate transactions. He is a member of the Walworth County Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is an experienced lecturer on various estate planning topics.

David has always been an active member of his church and currently serves as Chairman of Wisconsin Lutheran Child & Family Service, Inc., Director of a summer youth camp, and a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod Board of Appeals. He has a history of assisting many religious and non-profit organizations.

When not devoted to the needs of his clients, David and his wife enjoy wilderness canoe trips and spending time with their four children.



Steven A. Koch

Steven A. Koch was born in July of 1963 in Madison Wisconsin. Steve graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1986 with honors with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He graduated in 1989 from the University of Wisconsin with his Juris Doctorate. Upon leaving law school, he joined the firm as an associate in 1992 and has since become a partner. He is a member of the Walworth County Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin and the American Bar Association (A.B.A.). He belongs to the Criminal Justice Section of both the State Bar and the A.B.A

Steve recently won a case before the Wisconsin Supreme Court, State v. Harris, 2004 WI 64. Steve has also argued before the Wisconsin Supreme Court in State v. Armstrong, 223 Wis.2d 331 (1999). In addition, he has successfully handled appeals in State v Gerald L.C., 194 Wis.2d 548 (Ct. App 1995), and State v. Harris, 2003 WI App 144.

The Wisconsin Court of Appeals also adopted the argument Steve set forth at the trial court level, and reversed the trial court in State v. Richard A.P., 223 Wis.2d 777 (Ct. App. 1998), and In re the Interest of Terry T., 2002 WI App 81.

Between 2001 and 2004, Steve has obtained over $1,100,000 in personal injury settlements for his clients. In July of 2002, he obtained a judgment of over $4,000,000, one of the largest in Walworth County history.

Bradley J. Lochowicz

Bradley J. Lochowicz has been in practice with Seymour, Kremer, Nommensen, Morrissy & Koch, L.L.P. since 2001. Since joining the firm, Brad has successfully handled case in various areas of the law concentrating his practice on the areas of Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Social Security, Criminal Law, Business and Corporations and Civil Litigation.

Born and raised in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Brad graduated from Oak Creek High School in 1994. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Marquette University in 1998 where he as named to the Dean's List and the Philosophy and History Honor Societies. In addition, Brad served as the Legislative Vice-President of the Marquette University Student Government. Brad later attended Marquette University Law School where he completed his law degree in 2001.

While at Marquette University Law School, Brad was a member of the Student Bar Association and served as the Assistant Mock Trial Coach for the Oak Creek High School Mock Trial Team. At Marquette Law School, Brad was named to the Dean's List and received to distinguished CALI award for academic excellence. During law school and prior to joining the firm, Brad worked as a law clerk for Danz, Lettenberger, and Glasbrenner, S.C., where he assisted in trial preparation for cases involving personal injury and criminal cases including highly-publicized homicide and sexual assault cases.

Brad is currently a member of the Wisconsin State Bar Association, the Walworth County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
